Gestalt Digital and Gestalt Artforms, the record label it sprang from, were formed around the idea that we can accomplish more together than we can separately.  In that spirit, we’re sharing an offer through 2010.

If you do something to support your community, let us know and we’ll add $5 to your artist account.  This will show up as a miscellaneous credit on your artist report and reduces the amount of money you need to accumulate to receive your payment.  This can include volunteering at a soup kitchen, donating blankets to a shelter, collecting toys for Toys for Tots, taking pets to visit a nursing home, or anything else that you might do that truly supports your community.*  You don’t need to prove what you’ve done; we’ll take your word for it.

Of course, you only have an artist account if you have active albums in distribution with Gestalt Digital.   This offer is available once per artist, per active album in distribution.

Remember, even something as simple as donating a few cans of food can make you eligible for this offer.  Just send us an email, give some details and let us know if you don’t want us to share your story.

If you need ideas, here are some great organizations that could use your help;

·         Local homeless shelters or soup kitchens

·         Community Health Centers and Health Clinics (to find a community health center near you, which provides low-cost health care for those in need, please visit http://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov/).

·         Veteran’s care associations

·         Local animal shelters, such as the Humane Society

·         Environmental non-profits and your regional National or State Parks

·         School districts and programs

·         Local non-profits for low-income families, the elderly, and victims of domestic violence
